This 2 1/2 day course is open to Licensed Acupuncturists and will cover:
~ How to identify a referral pain pattern and the power of the twitch response as both a palpatory diagnostic tool and treatment technique
~ How to assess movements for dysfunctional patterns then treat the myofascia associated to create an immediate change in range of motion and pain
~Movement lab for assessing posture, gait and range of motion and to be able to understand and treat dysfunctional biomechanics
~ How neuromuscular dysfunctions can manifest as compensatory patterns
~ Understand, assess and Trigger point dry needle the most common upper and lower quadrant muscles
~ Learn how to use KT Tape on each muscle for support after a treatment
Day 1 & 2 are lectures, demonstrations and practical sessions. (9am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch)
Day 3 is Clinical Grand Rounds type format to observe and learn more specific treatments. (1/2 day 9am to 1pm)
